The Nomad 14 is specified for fleets. A discrete security chip, fingerprint reader and IR camera cover sign-in, the keyboard is spill-resistant to 330ml, and the chassis passes 12 durability tests including hinge cycling and drop resistance.
Memory and storage are both user-serviceable, and the battery is replaceable with a single screwdriver — which matters more over a four-year refresh cycle than a tenth of a millimetre of thickness. Ships with a 3-year onsite warranty.
